The Right to Green Work

In this one-hour webinar presentation on March 30, Paul Maxon will present to our membership on the growing intersection between environmental advocacy and employee rights, including the high correlation between the environmental degradation a job creates and the risk of physical and mental injury to the employees who perform the job, how employee advocacy for the right to green work can help offset the risk posed to both workers and the environment, and how the right to green work could be incorporated into our existing legal framework, including the expansion of environmental advocacy into pre-exiting employee rights, as well as the possibility of rooting new employee rights in existing environmental laws.
