Join us for a Brown Bag presentation by Colleen Calandra of recent United States District Court of Colorado decisions addressing collective action certification post Judge Kane’s Order rejecting the 10th Circuit approach to class certification under the Fair Labor Standards Act in Turner v. Chipotle, 123 F.Supp.3d 1300 (D. Colo. 2015). This Brown Bag will discuss recent decisions and new strategies when briefing your motion for collective action certification. It will also discuss hybrid actions and strategies for pursing a Rule 23 class action alongside a FLSA Section 216(b) collective action.
